Fifteen years ago I graduated college unsure of my next steps.  I started college with a goal of entering the fashion industry. After years of retail and a store management internship, I realized it wasn't enough.  It was then, then that I embarked on a career in higher education and education policy.

Over the course of my career, I have served as a Coordinator of Multicultural Recruitment, an Academic Advisor, and most recently Assistant Dean-- focused on equitable student outcomes.   My research as a Master's student was used each year to apply for federal funding in high needs areas and ultimately used to attain Race to the the Top funding for the State of Delaware.    I have presented at national and regional conferences on topics related to academic advising and diversity in higher education. In Fall 2014, I began studying for a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. I completed my degree in August 2019.
